1. Create an ETC (Ethereum Classic) Wallet 🔗

This guide uses Rabby Wallet, a secure browser wallet that supports Ethereum Classic.

Chrome Extension → Rabby Wallet installation
  • Open Chrome → Extensions → Visit Chrome Web Store
  • Search for Rabby Wallet
  • Click Add to Chrome and confirm

🔑 Write down your seed phrase and store it offline.
Never share it. Never screenshot it. Never enter it on any website.

After setting a strong password, your wallet will be ready. Switch the network to Ethereum Classic (ETC) and copy your receive address.

You need ETC to later swap for ETCPOWv2 and purchase a node license.

2. Swap ETC for ETCPOWv2 🔗

Open the official ETCMCv2 swap website and connect your wallet.

  • Connect Rabby or MetaMask
  • Verify the site URL is correct
  • Ensure network is Ethereum Classic
  • Select ETC → ETCPOW
Always leave some ETC in your wallet to cover gas fees.

Once confirmed, your ETCPOWv2 balance will appear in your wallet.

3. Buy a Node License from the Marketplace 🔗

Visit the official ETCMCv2 Marketplace and connect your wallet.

  • Sort licenses by price (Low → High)
  • Buy the cheapest available license
✍️ Write down your NFT-ID. You will need it for node registration.

4. Install ETCMCv2 Client on Windows 🔗

Download the latest ETCMCv2 client from the official website.

  • Run the installer
  • Accept license terms
  • Finish setup

5. Start and Register Your Node 🔗

Launch the ETCMCv2 Client and start the node.

Your browser will open localhost:5000/login

  • Username: admin
  • Password: password

  • Enter your NFT-ID
  • Enter your email
  • Paste your wallet address
  • Click Register Node
🎉 Your ETCMCv2 Node is successfully registered!
🔄 Synchronization can take up to 24 hours. Keep your PC online and connected.

6. Stake ETCPOWv2 for Claiming 🔗

Staking ETCPOWv2 is required to claim node rewards.

  • Stake is locked for 30 days
  • 10% penalties after unlock
  • Supports network stability
