How to Use the ETCMCv2 Dashboard – First Steps

Complete setup guide for connecting your ETCMCv2 node to the monitor dashboard, configuring notifications, and understanding your rewards overview.

Before you start: Your ETCMCv2 node must be fully registered and running for at least 5 minutes before it appears in the dashboard.

1) Requirements

  • ETCMCv2 Node installed (Linux or Windows)
  • Node fully registered
  • Node running at least 5 minutes
  • MetaMask installed
  • MetaMask set to Ethereum Classic network

2) Connect with MetaMask

Open the dashboard:

  1. Click Connect MetaMask
  2. MetaMask will open
  3. Review the signature request carefully
  4. Click Sign

You are only signing a login message. This does NOT send funds or create a transaction.
The request will show:

Network: Ethereum Classic
Request from: etcmc-monitor.org
Message:
Please sign this message to login to Miner Dashboard.

3) Account Settings

After login:
  1. Go to the top-right corner
  2. Click Settings
  3. Press Account Update
You will see fields like:
  • Username
  • Email Address
  • Email Notifications
  • Wallet Address
  • Telegram Chat ID
  • API Token

4) Email Notifications

Email notifications alert you when:

  • Transactions are received
  • Account activity changes
If you enable notifications:
  1. Enable Email Notifications
  2. Replace the placeholder email address
  3. Enter your real email address
  4. Click Update Account
If you enable notifications but keep the placeholder email, you will not receive anything.

5) Telegram Notifications (Recommended)

To receive node status alerts via Telegram:

Steps:
  1. Open the bot
  2. Press Start
  3. Send: /start
  4. Then send: /config
The bot will reply with something like:

Your chat ID is: 6421013242
To receive notifications about your node status,
please update your account at etcmc-monitor.org/account_update
with this Chat ID.
That number is your Telegram Chat ID. Now:
  1. Copy the Chat ID
  2. Paste it into the Telegram Chat ID field in Settings
  3. Click Update Account
You will now receive node status notifications 🔔

6) Understanding the Dashboard

Once connected and configured, the dashboard shows:
  • Online / Offline status of your nodes
  • Total number of nodes
  • Node price
  • Total ETCPOWv2 across all nodes
  • Total claimable rewards
  • Transaction overview
If your node does not appear immediately:
  • Wait a few minutes
  • Refresh the page
  • Make sure your node is running
